CHILDREN'S MINISTRY

"R.O.C.K." Kid's Church

(Reaching Our Covenant Kids)

Matt. 16:18 "...and upon this ROCK I will build My Church."

R.O.C.K. Kid's Church is an active Bible learning event. The goal is to reach children to age 13 years with the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ and teach them how to use that knowledge to be a positive influence on those around them.
CCE's Children's Ministry Team offers a wide variety of teaching methods to ensure all learning styles are addressed. Music, crafts, games and drama are incorporated with traditional teaching methods to learn God's Word, while having as much fun as possible. R.O.C.K. Kid's Church meets Saturday, 7:00 p.m. and Sunday, 8:30 and 10:45 a.m.

"Breaking Free"

Jim and Donna have been married for 42 years. They met each other in high school; both had given their lives to the Lord Jesus Christ and committed themselves to full-time ministry.

In counseling and ministering to others, they became increasingly aware of their own dysfunctional patterns of behavior, even though they loved each other and loved the Lord.

In "Breaking Free", they share some of the principles that have helped them change old attitudes, patterns and habits, lead more productive lives and maintain healthier relationships.

Many who have courageously participated in "Breaking Free" with Jim and Donna have been a vital part of their healing process. The program continues to serve as a learning and healing experience, bringing about true reconciliation to the Lord through walking out honesty in relationships. They both realize that "Breaking Free" and staying free is a life-long pilgrimage.

PRAYER MINISTRY

CCE'S PRAYER MINISTRY TEAM is made up of ordinary men and women who make themselves available and desire the Lord to use in extra-ordinary ways. Our focus is Jesus Christ, knowing His heart and having the same compassion He had for all people. Our desire is to see people saved, healed and delivered so they too can live in victory, fulfilling their God-given purpose.

The Prayer Ministry Team meets for intercessory prayer before the services every Saturday (5:15 p.m. to 6:45 p.m.) and Sunday (9:45 a.m. to 10:15 a.m.). Covenant Church East has a prayer chain for urgent prayer needs.
